Down in Germany there lived an awful lady named Liliy. She thought her name was very dreadful. Lilly was ugly and poor. Sometimes she could be really mean to children. When the children tell their parents the parents blow up like a balloon. When she was young her mom and dad did not appreciate her. Her parents were very wealthy and lived in a huge mansion. She only got the room under the stairs out of 6 other beautiful rooms. They only used her to clean up dishes, walk their $8,000 dollar Cocanspan Poodle, do their laundry and a bunch of other stuff. She was an absolute 24 hour girl. She only slept three hours a day but after a while she got used to it. Liliy lived across the street from a married couple and their two kids, a girl named Katrina and a boy named Jonathan. The family was very nice people but they did not like Liliy's parents. Katrina and Jonathan were friends with Liliy. Janet and Bobby, Liliy's parents, wanted to invite them over to a tea party but things went totally wrong. Liliy’s parents were bragging way too much. Janet was bragging about how brilliant and beautiful her dog was and Bobby was bragging about how much his tuxedo cost. Liliy, Katrina, and Jonathan were having a great time playing games until Katrina Jonathan had to go home. Their parents were just getting sick and tired of listening to all that bragging. So back to work for Liliy. Now Liliy is 33 years and homeless. Liliy was walking down an alley and she saw Jonathon at a shop called "Fix It" and he was tacking in this weird looking thing. Liliy ran in the shop and went up to Jonathan and said," Jonathan! It's you it’s really you! It’s me Liliy!” Jonathan said," Oh my word. Liliy is that you?" Liliy said," YES, YES, YES!!!" Jonathan looked at her and said, "I have to get you to my house right away!" Jonathan and Liliy ran to Jonathan’s car and went to Jonathan‘s house. Liliy stared at the big house for a long time and then went inside. Jonathan yelled," Girls come here!" Two thirteen year old twins and a woman came down stairs. Jonathan said," This is my wife Lauren and my two twins May and April." The family said,” Hello we are happy to have you here with us.” The family was very kind. They said that Liliy could stay here until she found a job. Lauren went to the store and got some new clothes for Liliy. Liliy got in the shower and got all cleaned up. When she got out she saw so many red bumps, she was horrified with herself. Lauren got a cleanser for her face and new make-up. She told herself that she’s never going to be a beauty and knew she wasn't going to get hired by anybody. Lauren said," It doesn’t matter what is on the outside it matters what’s in the inside, Liliy." Liliy gasped and said," How do you know my name?!" Lauren said," Jonathan told me." Then Liliy said," Oh." When Liliy got up the next morning she saw Jonathan watching the weather channel. Liliy said," Where is Katrina living?" Jonathan told Liliy to sit down. Jonathan said," Katrina and I got in a big fight two years ago and I don't know what happened to her since, I’m really worried about her though but I don't like talking about it, but any way we have to search for a job for you." Liliy and Jonathan went down town to find Liliy a job. The first shop they went to was called "Bomgarse". It was a funny little place. It was like an antique store. It had really pretty things. It was a very pretty store. The next store they went to was called “Pooper Scooper” is was a very little store and it was definitely a bad place to work. The store was very messed up. Everything was lying every where. Then they went to a store called "Treasure," another antique store. It was very beautiful. It didn't just have antiques. It hade stuff for kids, parents, teens and other people. Liliy said,” I really want to work here!" Jonathan said," That’s fine with me." "YES!" said Liliy. Liliy and Jonathan went up to the lady at the desk and asked if Liliy could get a job here. The lady was very disrespectful. The lady said in a mean voice,” I don't know go ask the lady down stairs!" Jonathan said," You better get your tone right.” Then the lady said,” Make me" Liliy and Jonathan both went down stairs. They saw the manager and went up to her and asked if Liliy could get a job here. The lady was very kind and said,” Yes you can, we need another person and you would be perfect! All you have to do is sign this paper work and come in by Sunday. Oh and before you leave, I'm the manager and my name is Cathy and the girl upstairs is Dallas, she is my daughter.” “Well nice to meet you Cathy, I am Liliy and this is my friend Jonathan." Said Liliy. The people talked for a while then they said their goodbyes and thank you and Jonathan and Liliy went home. Lauren was waiting by the front door reading her book "Gone With The Wind". Finally the door opened and it was Liliy and Jonathan. Lauren blasted off the chair and ran to hug Jonathan. Lauren asked," Liliy did you get a job?" Liliy said proudly," Yes I did!" Six months later Liliy has enough money to get her own place. Jonathan, Lauren, May, and April are all happy for her and they all had a party for her for accomplishing her goals. Liliy said her thank you but then the doorbell rings and Jonathan opens the door …….it's Katrina. They both smile at each other. The End |
